Installing a Generac generator involves more than dropping a unit in your yard. At Wells Electric Service, every installation follows a clear process so you know what to expect from start to finish. We begin with a site assessment to evaluate your property’s power needs, available fuel source (natural gas or propane), and the best placement for the unit. From there, we handle the sizing, matching the right Generac model to your home or business load requirements. We coordinate any necessary permits with local authorities and schedule the installation around your timeline. On installation day, our licensed electricians handle the full setup: generator pad, transfer switch wiring, utility connection, and startup testing. We walk you through the system before we leave so you understand how it operates and what to do if you have questions. Most residential installations are completed in a single day.
